We offer pedal boat rentals for you to explore Lake Hessian. Those under 16 years old MUST have someone over 16 in the boat with them, no exceptions. Ask the front desk for more information.

This beautiful, spacious pool operated by the state park is open to the public for the summer season, starting in mid-June. Located a short distance from the Inn, Lodge and Cottages with a daily access fee for the Park’s operations and maintenance.
Children’s playground and basketball court are both available in the park.

Iona Island is one of the largest tidal wetlands along the Hudson, with about 270 acres of freshwater and brackish cattail marshes. It is dominated by narrow leaved cattail, but non-vegetated tidal flats, subtidal aquatic beds, and rocky uplands also occur. Bald eagle sightings are not uncommon here.
