Please note there is $10 Park Entry Fee.\nPlease call 845-786-2731 ext. 1002 to reserve your spot. \n9 am and 2 pm – The Historic 1777 Trail to Doodletown (Moderate Difficulty\, Approximately 4 miles)\nThis is the route taken by British troops under Sir Henry Clinton on October 6\, 1777\, to attack the American forces at Fort Clinton and Fort Montgomery. Groups will stop for a lunch or snack at Doodletown Reservoir. For this hike\, guests will need hiking shoes (boots are not necessary)\, water\, and a snack or lunch.

It follows the Cornell Mine trail to the Ramapo Dunderberg trail to the top of Bald Mountain. On the return trip\, hikers will continue on the road and pick up the 1777 trail and hike through Doodletown before heading back to the Inn.
